The holidays are over, the kids are back in school, things are getting back to normal, and you're probably wondering what to do - here is a fun idea for the whole family.
The Wildwood Boardwalk has gone to the dogs and they're barking for you to stop by and see their beauty at the Atlantic Coast Classic Dog Show.
The Atlantic Coast Classic Dog Show will be held in the Wildwood Convention Center on the boardwalk by the sea from Thursday January 29th to Monday February 2nd 2009.
On Thursday, January 29, there will be a Conformation, Obedience and Rally dog show. The rally event is a must see where the dogs go through all kinds of obstacle courses.
On Friday, January 30, there will be seminars on Black Russian Terriers, Neapolitan Mastiffs and Dogue de Bordeaux. Conformation, Obedience and Rally dog show, and Canine Good Citizen Clinic. In the evening there will be an All Breed “B” Puppy Match Show; entries for the puppy match taken at the door.
On Saturday, January 31, 2009 All Breed Conformation dog show, a seminar on Irish Red & White Setters; followed by Police K- 9 Search, Rescue and Service Demonstration from the West Deptford Police department along with Mantua Police Department and The President from the U.S.P.C.A. Charter 15 Joseph Nicholas. Following this demonstration they will be holding their 1st Annual K- 9 Walk the Plank Costume Contest - Bring your canine all are welcome. Prizes will be awarded to the best dress K-9.
On Sunday, February 1, 2009 All Breed Conformation Dog Show, Canine Good Citizen Clinic, K- 9 CPR Seminar with certification – this is a great seminar to help your canine/pet in event of an emergency, and don’t forget there will be K-9 Free Style Dancing in the late afternoon.
On Monday, February 2nd, 2009 All Breed Conformation Dog Show and a Meet the Breed showcase.
There will be guided tours throughout the day to educate the public about all aspects of the sport of dog shows. Don't forget to check out the concession stands and vendors selling all kinds of wonderful items for you and your dog. Mark this on your calendar, it's truly an event that the whole family will love. Fun festivities and you can't beat the beautiful views of the ocean and the dogs.
